*OUR CREATIVE CHINCHILLAS*

Just like parents that boast about their own children's creative talents
We chinchilla parents love to boast about our chinchillas own talents!

So if you have a silly chinny story to tell
An ingenious little habit your chinchilla has
Or some remarkable or funny - even unusual piece of art your chinnie has chewed with loving care
Then why not show it off here!

Email Linda HERE if you have anything you would love to add to these pages - and don't forget their names and colour!

GARBO'S CROWN
(Linda's grey chinchilla - Garbo)

This fantastic and artful crown was actually one of the old cardboard rolls you get inside masking tape.
Garbo had lovingly chewed each little point perfectly all round nice and even - she also excelled by chewing the other side too
She presented this to me one sunny morning at the bottom of the cage and as she lay quietly in her box sleeping, I quickly snatched it away - just in case the next morning there was no art left to show for her talents!

TOFFI-NUT'S OLD BOOT
(Linda's beige chinchilla - Toffi-nut)

This was a square block of thermal block that Toffi-nut threw around the cage with chinnie vigour, and like a true artist, lot's of hard grinding and chewing work went into this, amazingly this appeared in the cage one day complete with a heel!
Toffi-nut never knew she had it in her and has tried many times to repeat the performance, but still only ends up with round footballs - one day she may produce the left boot!

JAFFA'S CAVECHIN SPEAR-HEAD
(Marie's brown velvet chinchilla - Jaffa)

This wonderful Neanderthal-chin creation belongs to one of Marie's chinchillas -Jaffa
From a simple object like this cuttlefish, little Jaffa devoted all her creative
talents over a 2 month period into what we as humans, would simply call a spear-head - Jaffa's creative potential will never be fully known and understood
But maybe it IS proof that 'Chinnievolution' really exists!

TOFFI-NUT'S BALLET SHOE
(Linda's beige chinchilla)

Toffi-nut has once again proved her valuable worth in talents, not only in 'designer' old boots out of thermal blocks but dainty little wooden ballet shoes (complete with half leg!)
Funny enough - this was discovered later that night after watching a film with a ballet theme!
The sounds of 'swan lake' must of echoed into the the 'chinchilla room' next door from our TV room, and obviously created great inspiration for Toffi-nut to start on her next project!

CLEO'S WILLOW
(Marie's chinchilla - Cleo)
Some little furries have an odd way of showing their true pieces of 'art' to the world! Cleo decided to delicately munch her way though a willow stick leaving the end bits intact, not like many who tend to destroy every little millimetre!

MOG, SPIKE AND PICKLES WHEEL
(Natalie's chinchillas)
Just goes to show that chinchillas are always far ahead of humans!
A sculpture that the 3 furries named above created out of a Lava bite
as Natalie their owner says:
'...just proves how far ahead of us chins really are. It took man millions of years to achieve
what chins discovered in a few weeks'

Geniuses - Alfie and Sam enjoying a breadstick

ALFIE and SAM'S FISH
(Julie's chinchillas)
Wonderful remains of a bark bite that Alfie and Sam
lovingly sculptured for their Mummy - Julie
complete with eye!

WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION
(Linda's little furry terrorists)
Just as Linda suspected, she came down one day to find hidden in the most
discreet places of each cage, preparations for chinnie warfare!
As the little furry rebels protested their innocence, Linda confiscated
their furry means of weaponry until she decided their fate
(their fate as in: 'treat or no treat tonight'!)

JAFFA'S BASKET
(Marie's chinchilla)
This wonderful basket was created by Jaffa - one of the very talented furballs belonging
to Marie - It originally was one of our 'loggers' sold on our online store, but Jaffa
thought it would be of more use to make into a basket so he could go
shopping for more goodies next time!

MYLO'S HEART
(Marie's talented chinnie)
Little Mylo - Valentine of the year! - and obviously the envy of all the the male chinnies
He created this little sweetheart out of a manzanita coin for his human mummy
A true Valentine at heart!

Maya, Heidi and Sophie - Professional wallpaper strippers
(Selena's furballs)

'ACME WALLPAPER STRIPPERS in action'

Just to show what a neat job (and very proffessional may we add) chinchillas can do
Leaving the complete Tube intact and removing colourful paper with just the slightest
nibbling on the edges which we all expect from those good at the job!

KOOKY'S GOLF BALL
(Linda's violet chinchilla)

Any true golf addict would envy an owner that can produce golf balls from the cage
Kooky amazingly gnashed away at a solid chew block and produced a perfect round golf ball
(from one of the Ridgeway gnaw blocks shown on the left)

ELLIE'S GOLDFISH

5yr old Ellie sculptured this wonderful artistic 'goldfish' in only 1 week

Ellie's proud owners believe it to be a masterpiece, worthy of an exhibit and we agree!
(Ellie is now working busy on her next creation)

RUSKKA and FLOSSIES WOOD SOLDIER GUARD

Ruskka and Flossy are proud to present to the furry world their own creation
At the tender ages of 2 years old a masterpieces was created in their very own cage
I'm not sure they knew what they had created - but it looks like a wooden soldier with
a hat on to me! - certainly worthy for Buckingham palace!

'SUPERCHIN'

Created by Bunty - obviously a great fan of Superman
Let's face it - compared to the real superman shield - a good match?
